Key Functions: Flame - Fire Retardants

An Environmental Risk Evaluation report for isopropylated triphenyl phosphate was published in August 2009. This substance is part of EPA‟s HPV Challenge and is a registered substance with the European Chemicals Agency (Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, 2001; Environment Agency, 2009; ECHA, 2013a, 2013b). Triphenyl phosphate, may contain a mixture consisting of isopropylated triphenyl phosphates, with an unspecified amount of isopropylation. Mono- to nona-isopropylphenyl phosphate have been found, for example tris[2,4,6-tri(propan-2-yl)phenyl] phosphate.
